OKO Technologies announces new 50mm PDM with 79 actuators. The mirror has 79 PZT actuators, with 61 actuators forming a hexagonal grid with 4.7 mm pitch, and 18 actuators placed on a circumference with 21.6 mm radius. Free actuator stroke is approximately 7 µm, the stroke difference between the neighbor actuators reaches 1.5 µm. The mirror is driven by two 40-ch HV amplifier units, controlled from a computer USB port via two 40-ch 12-bit USB DAC modules.
